Shot a bit of Mt. Rainier with my 100mm macro lens. Can’t help but think that when I get comfortable with the idea of spending the money on a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L I will have much better options on shots like this. Or at least thats one of the excuses I’m currently making while thinking about it.
These shots of the Nisqually Glacier area of Mt. Rainier are from a road just southwest of Paradise.

The Nisqually River is fed by the Nisqually Glacier on the southern side of Mt. Rainier. Heavy flooding in 2006 eroded the banks. I’m sure I would have wanted to be anywhere near the place when it crested.
